Описание: The Bessho Line is an 11.6 km Japanese railway line in Ueda City, Nagano, Japan, operated by the private railway operator Ueda Electric Railway. It connects Ueda and Bessho-Onsen stations. This is currently the only railway line Ueda Dentetsu operates. Although the company is the root of its holding company, Ueda Kōtsū, the group now mainly operates resort amusement facilities and bus lines. Ueda Kōtsū is owned by Tokyu Corporation.

1400-year-old historical hot spring resort of Bessho Onsen is traditionally called "Sacred Onsen resort blessed by the Sun & the Land." It is located only 30 minutes by local train from Ueda station. Many tourists visit all year round for its excellent quality of hot spring water, as well as for the spiritual and traditional temples and shrines that offer an elegant Japanese feel with real local wind.
