We walk the grounds (32 acres, bring comfy shoes), test out the spa (gift shop vibes but solid steam rooms), and test-drive the restaurants. I share what works, what doesn’t, and why this place—despite its high prices—still draws the luxury crowd.

About the resort: The Four Seasons Chiang Mai has 98 rooms spread across pavilions, pool villas, and private residences. There are two pools, a top-rated spa, and four restaurants, including a cooking school and a BBQ grill that delivers on flavor (if not lighting). The resort’s about 45 minutes from Chiang Mai International Airport and sits in the lush Mae Rim Valley—a tranquil setting that’s half movie set, half real deal.
