Non Dual Self Recognition - This ay be the most subtle of all spiritual, non dual teaching but also the most pivotal. The difficulty most have with non dual self-inquiry is the attempt to make it fit within a way of thinking that just can't grasp it.

Even the word recognize implies one thing seeing another. But, how do you see yourself when you are not two but one. The hammer can pound itself. The knife can't cut itself. The eye cannot see itself and you cannot perceive yourself.

But that is all indirect perception. One thing perceiving another. This is non dual recognition which is seeing one self. Not as one thing looking at another but as the intuitive knowing that is called "I am."
