Beneath a moon of bleeding red,
The king knelt low in foreign dread,
With sword unshod and prayer untrue,
He cried, “O Lord… but if not You…”
The silence broke, a shadow stirred,
A whisper coiled in serpent word:
"Give me the fallen, cold and still—
And I shall bend fate to your will."
We are the archers, silent and sworn,
Raining death at Agincourt's dawn.
But victory’s light, so bitterly earned,
Was paid in souls that never returned.
The pact was sealed, the arrows flew—
And morning wept in crimson dew.
The field was mud, the sky was steel,
The breath of death on every heel.
The longbow sang its deadly psalm,
And broke the French with ghostly calm.
Yet prisoners knelt with hands unarmed,
Still found no peace, no saintly balm—
For mercy died with Lucifer's smile,
And Henry walked his wicked mile.
We are the archers, fate-bound and blind,
To loose the storm the Devil designed.
The king stood crowned, the price unknown,
On bloodied fields he calls his throne.
And still the pact beneath the thorn
Holds England fast at Agincourt's mourn.
Did he weep for those betrayed?
Or count the souls the demon claimed?
His crown was gold, his heart was lead,
A thousand ghosts beneath his tread...
We are the archers, ghosts of the rain,
Cursed by glory, forged in pain.
The dead still whisper from the moor—
"Was it worth it, Agincourt?"
