🚀 A Giant Leap for Watertown STEM Education
WATERTOWN, SD — The future of South Dakota’s workforce just got an $8,750 boost. Today at Harmony Hill, Minnwest Bank officially joined the Watertown community with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and a major investment in our youth.
In partnership with the FHLB Des Moines Member Impact Fund, Minnwest presented a grant to the Challenger Learning Center of South Dakota. This center will be the only one of its kind in the tri-state area, offering students hands-on NASA-aligned experiences in precision ag, cyber tech, and healthcare.
"We want to inspire these students in middle school so that when they get to high school, they stay in South Dakota to build their careers," said Michael Hatch of Harmony Hill.
