DIY 18th Century Chemise - With Free Pattern - Great for Regency or Rococo

Описание: In this video I will share with you my process to make an 18th century chemise. This pattern is great, because I find it fairly straightforward to make, and this can be a great starting point when making a time-period wardrobe. This pattern is also very flexible and can work with a variety of time-period outfits. I like to wear this chemise style under my Regency Short Stays or Marie Antoinette inspired 1760's corset. In this video I make my chemise out of remnant piece of embroidered satin for ~aesthetic~ However, I recommend for your first pair, making the chemise out of cotton or linen. This will make the chemise more breathable and comfortable wear, as well as more time period accurate.

Materials:
2-2.5 yards of Cotton or Linen Fabric
2-3 yards of Bias tape for drawstring channel (or make matching bias tape from your fabric)
Ribbon about 2 yards long for drawstring
