Ravel cord is a quick way to separate your knitted items from the scrap or cast on bonnet. Its simply one more tool to make separating those items easier. It's been around for awhile although I've not seen any videos. Most of the time I do not bother with adding a Ravel Cord but in some circumstances the scrap yarn you're using doesn't pull out easy and therefore needs to be cut out - Ravel Cord helps this. I demonstrate how to apply and remove it once done. Not all techniques or tools are for everyone however eventually one comes across issues this helps.
