Add blanking or filler panels to your IT rack, AV rack, DJ rack or other standard size rack.
Blanking panels serve three main purposes:
1. Direct airflow properly within a rack.
2. Prevent dust and other contaminates from getting inside a rack.
3. Improve the look of the rack.
These racks are made to hold standardized sizes of components and standard sizes of panels. The standard unit of measure is a Rack Unit, abbreviated RU or more commonly, just U. One U equals 1.75 inches (44.45 mm) of vertical space within a rack.
When you have empty space within a rack and need to cover it, these standardized blanking panels make covering or filling those spaces simple.
