In a world that gravitates towards youth, these ladies wear red hats and purple outfits to stand out in society, fighting the invisibility that comes with growing older and acting subversive towards the behavioral codes of women their age.
This film explores subjects like death, companionship, the old age, society, illness and the passing of time. "Red Hats for the Soul" was crafted by documentary filmmaker Elaine Minionis at the New York Film Academy in 2008 as a social-issue project, and it has been adapted from SD to Full HD.
