Auto drivers in Bangalore gathered in protest outside Shanthi Nagar RTO today, raising concerns about Uber , rapido and Ola’s two-wheeler drivers operating without proper permits. They are pushing for fair competition and the implementation of 'one city, one fare' rules, highlighting years of unresolved grievances.

The protest emphasizes their demand for a 'yellow card' system for auto drivers , aiming to level the playing field in Bangalore's transportation sector.


Ayub Khan, State Auto Union President from the Aam Aadmi Party, spoke to Daily Salar Digital, criticizing the government for injustice towards auto drivers. He pointed out that while two-wheeler drivers are often let off with fines, auto drivers are unfairly sent to jail. This disparity, he said , reflects a lack of action from the government despite ongoing protests.
