Probably the scammers most used way to get big money.

Used mainly by pretending they are sending luxury goods as gifts for their ‘new love’ or in military scams it can be sending legal documents that need to be kept safe, gold or money that’s been seized/found and needs to be kept safe, or an inheritance that’s come about whilst they are deployed and they can’t get the money deposited in that country.

They may send pictures or videos of what is in the box they claim to send, be that luxury goods, cash or gold.

They may also send pictures of the package itself and videos of ‘them’ visiting a post office or in the drop off centre.

They may send receipt confirmation that the package has been sent.

Scammers may set up a fake website where you will be given a package ID and tracking number that will actually appear to show on that website and the updates of where that package is now. Of course that it being controlled entirely by the scammer.

They will send emails or what’s app messages from courier companies or customs departments claiming the package has arrived and now need import taxes or similar paying before the package can be released.

Scammers this past year, targeting the Philippines have been recruiting locals to phone victims claiming to be these customs agents to be more convincing.

One thing is certain. The package is as fake as all the love words, stories and pictures they use. Nothing is coming to your address.

Straight from the mouth of an ‘educator of scammers’ on his huge you tube channel- when you use this format you’re trying to show love to someone who really loves you, but in retrospect nothing is actually coming.
