The Meaning Behind "SunInArtist"
While "San’in" (山陰) literally means "shadow of the mountain," this region—especially Izumo—is famous for its breathtaking sunsets and myths. We named our project SunInArtist with the hope that these talented artists will shine like the sun from this mystical land to the world.

SunInArtist（サンイン・アーティスト：山陰アーティスト）は、「ロケーションの空気感ごとレコーディングした演奏を今日のあなたのBGMに」をテーマに、素晴らしいアーティストやミュージシャン達、山陰に根付いて営んでおられるロケーションを紹介するプロジェクトです。
彼らは確かな実力と才能を持っており、この動画を通してたくさんの人に届くことを願っています。
撮影はすべて日本の美しい山陰地方（島根県・鳥取県）で行い、演奏は現地でリアルタイム録音しています。スタジオ録音なしのリアルな生演奏をお楽しみください。
「山陰（San’in）」は“山の陰”という意味ですが、神話のふるさと出雲地方は「日が沈む国」として夕日が美しい事で有名であること、この地から太陽のように輝くアーティストたちが羽ばたいていくようにという願いを込めて「SunInArtist」と名付けました。
アーティストの演奏を通じて山陰の素晴らしいお店やロケーションに出会って欲しいです。
