The ''official'' highest peak in Saudi Arabia at an elevation of 3015m is situated 20km from Abha city, the capital of Asir province.
We summited with Saudi's youngest explorer, baby Hafsa at 5 months young.
Our entire 2700km road-trip was planned because of this mountain. They say it's not about the destination but the journey and our road-trip proved so over and over again as we got so much more than what we set out to achieve.
There are no marked hiking or trekking trails, so if you want to go trekking, including to the actual peak, hire a local guide
