19 lakh people left out of Assam NRC not 'stateless', says External Affairs Ministry

Описание: The Centre has once again made it clear that the 19 lakh people whose names have been excluded from the final #NRC list released on Saturday are not stateless people.
Spokesperson of the Ministry of External Affairs, Ravish Kumar said that the excluded people will have the option of moving the Foreigners Tribunals as well as the Courts to prove their citizenship.
The Ministry of External Affairs also said that the central government will provide assistance to those in need to go through the legal process of filing appeals.
