Instruments used

EMS Synthi A
EMS Pitch to Voltage Converter
KORG SDD 1200 delay processor
Charvel Jackson Guitar


Using the built in oscillator of the

Pitch to Voltage Converter
Sending the Oscillator audio signal
and envelope follower voltage signal
to the Synthi
Using the PVC for balance the
guitar and VCO sound
and also with the PVC preamp
add little more saturation
Also the Synthi filter receives the signal
in "hot" level to get more overdrive at
filter stage
The VCF modulation is from Synthi
Oscillator 3
The PVC envelope follower is controlling
VCO3 and VCF frequency
Delay from Korg SDD 1200
And no more post processing sound
The PVC oscillator can be tuned in
wide range, for high pitch harmonization
To drive the PVC with guitar can be tricky
at first time, taking care of playing technique
With some practice it can be used
and set for melodic uses
but from the beginning is very fun
and pleasant to make sound experimentation



This PVC is from 1971,
full analog, no digital technology,
no computers,
this thing is alive
