GftK's vdw 800 Jointing Mortar for Grouting and Pointing a Stone Sett Circle in a New Driveway

Описание: This driveway was designed with concentric circles of Black Limestone and Raj Green Sandstone setts surrounded by Indian Sandstone slabs, with a triple edge band of the same black limestone setts. The paving was all pointed using GftK’s vdw 800; the unique, 2-part, epoxy resin bound sand paving jointing mortars from NCC Streetscape.
GftK's vdw 800 jointing mortar was selected because it is easily able to accommodate the regular 4x4 traffic over the driveway, together with visiting delivery vehicles of up to 20 tons; plus the jointing work had to be completed quickly and on schedule, in order to enable access to the property, without delays due to the cold, wet and damp weather that was forecast.
Installation is ergonomic and GftK's vdw 800 is mixed and then wet-slurry applied, directly on to pre-wet paved surfaces and rinsed with additional water; therefore it is not necessary to wait for the paved areas to dry out before pointing after wet and rainy weather. It is easily applied using a squeegee and it self-compacts into the joints so no additional hand pointing or compacting is necessary, and then the surface is simply rinsed and brushed off – job done!
