i think the video shows the process easier than i can describe it. you go to the sewer part of the scary temple, grab the VHS from the secret room, go to the crypt and find the TV, play the video, go back and lightning strike the corner of that gate thing. as for where you get that lightning spell it is somewhere in the upper part of the crypt.
also don't mind the weird enemies, random enemies is just a gimmick you get when you name your character a specific phrase being: "!RANDOMNPCS"
