How do you research something on the internet? Do you start with an open mind or do you set out to try and prove that what you believe is the truth about a subject? What you type into Google will give you a clue, as well as what you do with the results once they appear. If you are in fact cherry picking evidence then there is a pretty good chance that your conclusions may be completely wrong.

Trying to avoid bias is very important when it comes to the health of your pet dog or cat. If you only read or acknowledge information which gives one point of view then you will do nothing but confirm this view is the truth, even if it couldn't be more wrong.

Don't worry though, you're not alone in potentially cherry picking data. It is done by so many people and organisations, including big pharma, that you might wonder how on earth you can ever know what is going on! the good news though is that, with a bit of thought and effort, the conclusions you come to will really help keep your pet healthier and happier
