Measurement of villus height and crypt depth with ImageJ | Morphometry of intestine

Описание: In this video we will talk about the morphometry of intestine. Morphometry usually includes taking the measurements of villus height, villus width and crypt depth as well as a ratio between villus height and crypt depth.
• Villi height is measured from the top of the villi to the top of the submucosa.
• Villi width is measured at the middle of each villus.
• Crypt depth is measured from the base of the crypt to the level of crypt opening. This is the region of transition between the crypt and villi.
