Описание: This story of Peter and Jesus is my favorite in the Bible. Peter's transformation from a failed fisherman to a courageous preacher who spread the gospel and ended up choosing to be crucified upside down, instead of the way his master was, is epic.

What must he have thought as he saw Jesus' miracles? What must he have experienced as he realized his master and friend was god? He had amazing moments of courage during Jesus' ministry like the walking on water scene where he stepped out of the boat. After the resurrection he became BRAVE. He no longer feared death and was one of the biggest heroes of the church... in fact the very foundation of it.

One of the greatest thing about Peter is that he was a messed up person full of flaws... just like us. If Jesus reaches out to use people like him to change the world, he can use us too. All we have to do is step out of the boat.
