Japan prepares long range strike capability with new missile systems

Описание: IISS analysis outlines Japan’s planned deployment of domestically developed long-range missiles including the Hyper Velocity Gliding Projectile and upgraded Type-12 between fiscal years 2025 and 2027.
The systems together with Tomahawk cruise missiles and expanded ISR satellite capabilities are intended to support Japan’s emerging counterstrike posture and extend the strike range of the Japan Self-Defense Forces.
