No knock off parts. No Ali express, alibaba, Amazon, temu, or anything of the sort, just reputable name brands.
You're totally allowed to use stuff from your parts bin, however you must assign a reasonable price to them.
If you get a free bike from a buddy, put a price on it.
RRP, so no supplier/shop discounts though specials are ok
Labor costs do not need to be applied to the final build cost.
Voting will start on March 1st. It will be a similar bracket system we used last year. Hopefully things go a little smoother this time.
When you are done with your bike, send photos and a cost breakdown list to [email protected] for official entry.
Make sure to include your name and instagram! #cheapbikebuildoff2026 instagram has made it very difficult to search though hashtags I want to make sure everyone's bike gets seen!
