More Than – "Fire Damage" (2015, UK) [4K Upscale]

Описание: A presumably unintentionally eerie Home Insurance advert by More Than, an insurance company here in the UK. I remember this advert quite vividly, and for a while, I thought it was a Fire Safety PIF. Though now that I say that, we are probably due for a new Fire Safety PIF centered around wandering through a charred house.

We open with shots of multiple burnt items. Eventually, we see a shadow and hear some footsteps. Some low-mood music starts and we are shown that we are inside a house after a fire. We then see a man walking around the house, who lists various items within it. Toothbrushes, school essentials, bath products. He is looking at the damage done to the house by the fire. We them get a voiceover saying that a More Than personal project manager can fix your home, but the first thing they fix is your life. We end with a shot of the man looking into a mirror.

Aaaaand, yep, for this version of the ad at least, that's pretty much it. There are shorter versions which end with two shots outside of a house, but this one doesn't for some reason. Arguably, that makes it even more PIF-like. What is this, a fire safety awareness film, or an insurance advert? Please! Make up your mind!
