The Janome 5270QDC is the most advanced sewing machine in the Janome range before you get to the long arm range starting with the Atelier 3 and is packed full of useful and helpful features.

In this video I'll demonstrate all the key features and explain how and why they are useful so you can decide if this is the right sewing machine for you. I'll even show you how to thread the machine and get sewing.

The Janome 5270QDC has a knee lift so you can raise the presser foot without having to take your hands off the fabric, a bonus pack of sewing machine presser feet, taking the total to 11, 3 magnifiers which are really useful for close work and working on darker fabrics and a twin needle button which makes using decorative stitches with a twin needle super easy. When you press the twin needle button the Janome 5270QDC, based on the stitch you select, the machine will automatically set the right stitch width for a twin needle rather than you having to work that out manually. It also has the thread snips button to cut your threads at the touch of a button - trust me, once you've tried this you'll never want to go back!

It also has 270 stitches including 12 styles of one step buttonhole, a touch key panel, a free extension table and hard cover, sliding speed control so you can sew at your own speed, needle up down to help you sew accurately and a start stop button so you can sew without using the foot control and a lock stitch function to secure your stitches neatly without reversing.
