A Believer is always in the state of hope and fear

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم
الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي تَوَاضَعَ كُلُّ شَيْءٍ لِعَظَمَتِهِ ، وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي ذَلَّ كُلُّ شَيْءٍ لِعِزَّتِهِ ، وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي خَضَعَ كُلُّ شَيْءٍ لِمُلْكِهِ ، وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي اِسْتَسْلَمَ كُلُّ شَيْءٍ لِقُدْرَتِهِ
اللهم صل على محمد وعلى ال محمد و بارك وسلم
اما بعد

A Muslim us between hope and fear.. between the hope of the mercy of Allah Ta'ala and the fear of the punishment of Allah Ta'ala

we should have both in a balanced manner, and should cry in front of Allah Ta'ala, either out of happiness or fear

this cry draws special mercy of Allah Ta'ala, protects such eyes from punishment, which means his whole body will be protected from jahannam

H Abu raihana RA narrates a hadith that a crying eyes is forbidden upon jahannam.. another eyes are those stay awake to protection the believers , such as Guarding at night or journey

at targheeb wat tarheeb has many other Ahadeeth. One narration is that such eye will not enter into jahannam out of the fear of Allah Ta'ala, it will become impossible like milk cannot be put back into the udders

h ibn mulaika RA says we were with Abdullah ibn Umar RA in the place of hijr, O people, cry, if you are not able to do so then pretend to cry, to Allah Ta'ala..this will also attract his mercy

then he said that if you find out (about the severity of the punishment in the hereafter) then stay busy in salah, until your broken, meaning stay very occupied. And cry in abundance

Alhamdulillah we have special nights coming, take time out to cry to Allah profusely

make a habit of making dua after fardh salah, unless we have an emergency, and at other times of acceptance

all the actions for the sake of Allah Ta'ala, not to show off

we ask Allah Ta'ala to grant us all the ability to practice upon what we have heard. Ameen

سبحَانَكَ اللّٰهُمَّ وَبِحَمْدِكَ أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلٰهَ إِلَّا انْتَ أَسْتَغْفِرُكَ وَأَتْوبُ إِلَيْكَ
سُبْحَانَ رَبِّكَ رَبِّ الْعِزَّةِ عَمَّا يَصِفُونَ وَسَلَامٌ عَلَى الْمُرْسَلِينَ وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ
