Rundown of the gear I use with my low volume kit and the EAD setup I gig with to monitor my acoustic kit. Playing examples recorded from the EAD directly to the Rec'n'Share app on the iPhone XS.
*Disclaimer - I work for Yamaha Corporation of America*
The kit is a culmination of random gear that I have used over the years, more of a "Franken kit" that evolved into a great practice kit. I started playing around with the EAD and pads a few years ago, creating scenes and working with the settings - the module is really flexible and sounds great. I'm not using the recent low volume mesh kits - the scenes are built specifically for pads, the inputs have different assignments for this kit to take advantage of the 3 zone pads.
The average new price of a new kit with similar components would be around $4600. You can find less expensive options, I've listed the comparable items for reference. My acoustic set has separate hardware that's used for gigs.
