Matt and I had a blast on this day trip to Hirosaki with our friends! We visited the Hirosaki Owl Cafe, Iwakiyama Shrine, and the Lantern Festival at the Hirosaki Castle (about 2.5 hours away from Misawa). One of the best parts about Japan is getting to see all the festivals, but unfortunately this year there have been very few due to the virus. We're hoping next year there will be a lot more!
