The Tidewater Council, Boy Scouts of America runs and operates a camping facility known as the Pipsico Scout Reservation.
On August 3, 2011 we were lucky enough to have a CH-46E Sea Knight Helicopter come and visit us and do a touch and go. Our camp is located a short flying distance from many military installations and many of our Scouts are the dependents of individuals stationed in the armed forces.
We were happy to have the visit, the kids enjoyed it, and it was great to have a training mission to our camp by one of our elite fighting forces. A big thank you.
