A little back story. So we had planned on sharing a new song called “Alah” erev yom tov, our first duet as a married couple. It seems my trusty old apple computer had other plans and needed some extra love and honey, but indeed after many frustrating hours of updates, recoveries and most importantly, a beautiful and restful yom tov, she finally gave forth this exciting new fruit of our labor of love. This year is unlike any other for myself, (Chana) My heart is full of wonder as I take in each moment settling into our new home in Jerusalem. I feel as a child. At every turn I am met with something new. The unknown can be exciting and unsettling. The sense of discovery can be overwhelming. Yet, overall I am simply amazed by Hashem. The journey, the provision, the gift of family…
I bless us all to have new eyes to see the goodness of Hashem. May our hearts overflow with gratitude. May sweetness fill our mouths and ears as we encourage and strengthen each other from day to day.
