A Unite 24v 250w MY1016Z2 400 odd RPM, Brushed DC electric motor with roughly 10:1 reduction gear, running in reverse, with a freewheel 12 tooth freewheel clutch, to enable you pedal independently without motor drag.
You get to briefly see the 60w solar backbox and rear LED truck lights, and hear the noise level of the motor and gearbox in particular !
Going downhill without them operating, you can hear the noise of the rear freewheel in particular.
