Описание: A stunning two day backpacking adventure across part of the Eastern fells, located in the world famous and beautiful Lake District National Park. This is a fantastic journey bagging 14 challenging peaks of the so-called Wainwright fells. Summitting some of the most iconic mountains made famous by Alfred Wainwright when he wrote his series of seven hiking guide books, "The pictorial guide to the Lakeland fells." Some of the highest mountains in England are traversed, including fells such as Helvellyn, Fairfield, and St Sunday Crag. With spectacular cinemaphotography overlooking the famous ridges of Striding edge and Swirrel edge. This film is episode 1 of the "Adventure Series" part of Michael's "Backpacking the Wainwrights Adventure films." This episode sees Michael leading his 14 year old nephew Lennox on his first wild camp, sleeping under the stars on the summit of Nethermost Pike. The 14 peak challenge pushes the then14 year old Lennox to his limits on this demanding 18-mile Trek. Lennox battled through it and completed his first backpacking adventure. The trek starts in Patterdale and ends in Glenriidding and is a beautiful cinematic film showcasing this classic round journey, which ultimately proves to be a tough, challenging journey as well as educational adventure for Lennox.
