MASTER the Steep Approach! 🛬 FSS E-Jets Low Vis Landing at London City | MSFS2024 [4K]

Описание: London City Airport (EGLC) is known for its challenging 5.5° glide path, but can we handle it in low visibility with a crosswind? In this video, I take the FlightSim Studio (FSS) E195 onto VATSIM for a full steep approach tutorial into Runway 27.

Learn the correct procedures for the "Steep Approach" mode in the FSS E-Jets (Embraer 170/175/190/195). I’ll walk you through the cockpit setup, speed management, and the final flare technique required to get this bird down safely. We are fighting rain, low cloud, and variable winds with a crosswind component on the VATSIM network, making this an intense approach in Microsoft Flight Simulator.

Worth noting that if you do extend the flaps set your landing flaps just prior to intercepting the glide slope or you'll get a high N1 for a short while like I did in this video. The reason I set it up this way is to give myself more time to have it all set up, and speed to be stabilised where I wanted it prior to the steep descent.
