Repairing an Industrial battery that had a cable torn off of it. this was previously repaired by another technician and just didn't bond real well. This will be my repair which has a really good bond. There are a ton of ways to do lead attachment, i like using the carbon arc over open flame method. open flame can tend to work better for this type of repair because you can keep more area liquid longer. However, the heat can get away from you and cause the lead to melt away into a big pool.
