As the cold, wet weather continues in the UK (post-Easter 24) I revisit my travels in Europe last summer to bring back a little of that sunny warmth, and carefree days, and joi de vivre that the continent - and in particular - Belgium seems to have in such abundance.
Follow me as I make my way back to England after Paris-Brest-Paris. On this next leg of the journey I travel across northern Belgium towards the Dutch border.
The highlight of the day was a visit to the choloate heaven that is Bruges. Let's soft-pedal up the cobbled streets once more and take in the memorable sights and sounds of that enchanted city.
