Version Notes:

Beginning in the upcoming version 1.2, lava spikes can be directly enchanted with Looting to increase drop rates. But as of version 1.1, you’ll need to be holding a sword with Looting for increased drops, just as you would when using a trident killer.

Also, for some reason, as of version 1.1 this looting effect does not work when XP tanks are linked to a spike. So avoid XP tanks for now or else your drops will be severely reduced.

Using the Redstone Guidebook, it’s possible to add players to the ignore list for the fan and lava spike. As of version 1.1 this setting is not correctly applied to the fan but does work for the lava spike.
