DANNY'S DENTAL DATE (color) has a boy marionette overhear his marionette mommy calls the dentist, so he and his marionette dog run away and spend some time with marionette animals. Perhaps it’s the inexpressive faces or the dog that looks more like a crocodile, or the incessant organ music, or the giant closeups of puppet teeth, but this one is seriously ultra-creepy. Yet more reasons why you should never, ever visit a dentist.

YOUR VOICE AND THE TELEPHONE (color) explains how phones work, using the newest and most updated of… well, antique phones. Remember when phones had cords? And you couldn’t carry them around? And they couldn’t go on the Internet? And they were only used for talking? Ain’t the past funny?

THE NATURE OF SOUND (color) has Jimmy investigating sounds and vibrations on a Saturday morning. Jimmy is obviously a very lonely boy.

JIMMY OF THE SAFETY PATROL (1951, b&w) shows how a youngster can enjoy the joys of fascism right at his local school. He can join an organization of like-minded members, wear a “uniform,” and give orders. Jimmy takes a special interest in a younger boy named Billy Jones and lets Billy know who’s in charge. Someday Jimmy will learn all about racial profiling and be an even more powerful member of the Safety Patrol!

SAFETY ON THE SCHOOL BUS (1951, b&w) has the folks at Centron taking all the fun out of riding on the bus to school: “Make sure you aren’t a Willy Nilly!” Wait! Someone just threw a banana peel in the aisle! Whooooops! Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha!

BICYCLE SAFETY (1950, b&w) shows what kids – “the automobile drivers of tomorrow” – need to know about their “wheeled vehicle.” Look! That stupid girl used the wrong signal for a left turn! From the worrywarts at Centron again.

SAFETY TO AND FROM SCHOOL (b&w) is more of Centron obsessing over danger and death when two kids try “the adventure” of walking to school and – uh oh! The Safety Patrol is on the march again….

CHEATING (1952, b&w) is a kiddie version of "Crime and Punishment" that starts when John cheats on a test and ends with him getting thrown off the Student Council. “John Taylor is a cheat! John Taylor is a cheat!” More Centron madness.
