Gadget is sent to Neutralia, the world's only source of the supermetal neutronium, to rescue King Olaf, who has supposedly been kidnapped by the ghost of King Thor. It turns out that Thor seems all too real and intends to take over the country and give M.A.D. the neutronium, so Claw can build an invincible army.

Gadget is now a lieutenant, and a member of an organization called ""WOMP"" (World Organization of Mega Powers). He is aided in his work by Penny (who is now twelve years old), as well as the new robot characters Digit and Fidget, the titular Gadgetinis invented by Penny, and Chief Quimby (who now works as an informant for the head of WOMP) has been replaced with Col. Nozzaire, a former member of the French Foreign Legion.
