The Beatles began their 1966 tour schedule with concerts in Germany.
They held their first two concerts in Munich the day after their arrival.
The German TV network ZDF secured permission to film the Beatles evening concert as well as parts of the opening acts.
This was all edited into a TV special they broadcast in early July as "Die Beatles". This restoration is a reconstruction using the best PAL source for the TV special and a clip from the Anthology documentary.
