In this video is the history of the ship when she was still in Japan up to her present state. She was the former Esan of Tsugaru Kaikyo Ferry in Japan. She was acquired by the Aboitiz Transport Systems in 2010. She was refitted and added more passenger decks in Ouano Wharf. She was later renamed as M/V Cebu Ferry 3.
After the Aboitiz Transport System was completely bought out by Negros Navigation Co Inc. All the passenger ferries of both Negros Navigation and ATS was merged into a single brand which is the current: 2GO Travel. She was later renamed as the current M/V St. Ignatius of Loyola.
