Captain Amarinder Singh, Punjab's CM, on Monday addressed the farmer’s protest and told them that "they should move out their protest from Punjab to Haryana and Delhi so as to put more pressure on the Central govt." "Captain's remarks are proof that he is provoking farmers and that it is a sponsored agitation against the centre’s farm laws," says Haryana minister, Anil Vij. On the other hand Raj Kumar Verka, a Congress MLA had admitted that Congress has sponsored the farmer's protest. While Harsimrat Kaur, a member of Akali Dal, has accused the Punjab CM of abandoning the farmers. She said, "He relaxes in his palace, while farmers are on road."
