2022 Nevada County Woods Riders 22nd Annual DS Ride - 120+ miles of single track and trails

Описание: May 2022- I headed down to Nevada County, CA in the Sierra foothills to ride in the 2022 NCWR Dualsport Ride. Bit of a drive from Central OR, but totally worth the trip- the Sierra have some amazingly well-maintained single-track and back-roads that snake up and down the steep canyons. NCWR put on an awesome event that was well organized and drew a great crowd of riders.

The ride was split into two sections- AM & PM. The AM section was around 40 miles, much of it single-track, with options to stick to 2-track for those on the bigger bikes or looking to skip the tighter sections. Group start was staggered in 1-minute intervals which kept dust and crowding to basically zero. The PM section was around 80 miles and a great mix of twisty, scenic pavement and challenging two-track through old mining country.
