Описание: Dr Kim Johnson’s work aims to understand how physical stresses, such as those generated by growth and wind, are sensed to initiate pathways that regulate the composition of the cell wall and therefore plant form. This talk will discuss the role of glycoproteins and mechanosensors in cell wall integrity and regulation of plant growth.

Dr Johnson is a senior lecturer in the La Trobe Institute for Agriculture and Food, CI in the ARC ITRH Medicinal Agriculture (2019 – 2024) and has previously worked in the ARC CoE Plant Cell Walls.
