Delingha in northwest China's Qinghai Province is now home to 302 terrestrial wildlife species, including 79 nationally protected animals, according to the latest surveys. Populations of rare species such as the snow leopard and black-necked crane remain stable, reflecting effective habitat protection, professional patrols and eco-compensation measures that have reduced human disturbance and strengthened the region's ecological resilience.
