CORRECTION: the NEC D780C-1 is an NMOS CPU as well, not CMOS - sorry! So I never had a CMOS Z80 installed.
My Speccy Plus was almost working fine, but had sound issues, and more severely, the keys Q W E R T were resetting the machine - and only these; all other keys worked fine. Join me while I am trying to fix this. This is a very uncommon and unlikely problem, and you will be surprised by the resolution. At least I was. Enjoy!
