Enjoy the beauty of Uttarakhand, a mountain state in India. You will see many small villages on the mountains around the road. Uttarakhand is also called "Devbhumi" which means "Land of the Gods" due to many Hindu pilgrimage sites throughout the state.
We are driving through the scenic Rishikesh - Badrinath highway, also called NH7.
The NH-7 (old NH-58) connects the pilgrimage places like Rishikesh, Devprayag, Rudraprayag, Karnaprayag, Chamoli, Joshimath and Badrinath with Dehradun and Chandigarh.
The mountain ranges around the route are called Garhwal Himalayas.
