Full-length resizing brass gets a bad reputation. In this video, We use a Redding FL resizing die to show you how to get better results. As part of our 'This Old Rifle Series', we will be FL sizing our brass using this method to help build the most accurate hunting ammunition possible.
Bumping the shoulder of fired brass back .002" will ensure positive chambering in our rifle, while keeping the fire-formed brass as close to chamber specs as possible. Then, by raising the sizing button towards the top of the reloading die, we can ensure the case neck is supported as it is set to the final dimension. This results in straighter brass and more uniform results.
