Hi, I'm Maya, I'm 25, I've been animating for two decades along with educating people around the world on nature and our planet since I was 8 years old. Through my indie studio Upenndo I've been able to create jobs and opportunities for artists around the world, and tell a story focused on the connection between animals, humans, and nature, and the impacts of ecological trauma. Asali survived of the collapse of her bee colony, thanks to her Queen Mother. Now in her adulthood, she must face the monstrous embodiment of deforestation haunting her family’s past in order to save their home, with the help of new pollinator friends, a mysterious scientist, and a magical guardian of legend.
