Cuts waste and time
Love it! It's light and easy to use. When I use a potato peeler I was always peeling too much potato with the peel. This blade is fine and only gets the skin, in seconds. Except for the "poles" of the potato but I don't mind. It's easy to clean if you have a sprayer to just rinse off the spikes where you insert your potatoes. Small enough and doesnt take up much room.

Held up amazingly for over a year of use.
Update 2019: had for two years and still going strong. I use at least monthly, sometimes multiple times a week!I have had this product now for almost a year and can say I honestly love it and use it weekly. I have a toddler so I try to do everything and anything to cut down on prep time. I usually prep my foods the night before when he is in bed. However, when I peel potatoes at night they always turn brown within hours. Therefore, this product allows me to peel the potatoes quickly to add to my stew in the morning. Clean up is very easy as I just run the two pieces that hold the item in place under water. The blade itself is easily removed and then can be washed that way. They even include any extra blade with the machine, but in the year I have had the product I have not needed it. The machine is very light and some say it seems cheap, but this "cheap" machine has held up incredibly well, especially considering the price.I have also used this for apples for my child and on pretty much anything you want peeled and can fit between the two blades.

Worked like a charm
Worked like a charm, straight out the box. Plugged it in, stuck my Nectarine on there and hit the on switch...peeled it clean. My only complaint and hopefully the makers will read this and take note, but the ability to clean some of the parts (top pointy part that sticks in fruit, bottom pointy part that sticks in fruit) in the dish washer would have gotten this item 5 stars from me. Cleaning instructions say, "Use a damp cloth" Really? How can you get a damp cloth into the grooves of that bottom pointy piece? it would have be better (in my opinion) to simply make it where any pieces with potential to get wet & sticky from the fruit, vegetable, etc. should be able to be "popped" off and thrown into the dishwasher....But....failed opportunity for greatness here Starfrit...tsk tsk tsk lol. All and all, it's a nice little machine. The fruit in my photos are Nectarines and that is the Norpro Peach Wedger & Pitter Norpro 5113 Grip EZ Peach Wedger and Pitter , but it works for Nectarines too as you can see ;)

WORTH EVERY PENNY!
This little gadget saved my hands andmy sanity! I started making house potato salad at my little bistro (because it's WAY better...duh), but peeling potatoes took FOREVER! I hated it so much that I went on the hunt for a better solution because now I'm committed to making homemade potato salad. Not only was this the ultimate hot ticket, but it peels about 10 large baking potatoes in about 10-12 minutes! I have peeled at least a hundred potatoes so far and haven't had to change out the blade yet. This was such a life saver & time saver. Thank you to the clever individual who invented this amazing Rotato! It was indeed worth every penny!

Fun time saving gadget
We bought this after watching a YouTube review on potato peelers. It always takes me forever (and lots of knicks to my fingers!). We decided to go for this one. It took me a minute to figure out—I had a moment and didn’t realiZe the blade wasn’t on—they are kept under the peeler. It then took me a few minutes to get the blade on, but once I did it was smooth sailing! It peeled a potato and a cucumber in less than a minute. My kids think it’s magic (and I’m a fan too!). Makes dinner prep so much easier! Glad we splurged one this fun kitchen accessory!

Works Great!
Setup was simple. I tried with an apple and it worked great! The apple had a stem I couldn’t removed, so I placed it upside down. It peeled amedium sized apple in 15 seconds! We will be peeling potatoes with this for Thanksgiving this year. It will be a time saver.Update: I just peeled a whole bag of potatoes with this for Thanksgiving. This machine is awesome! If you get an odd shaped potato, just flip it over and do the other side. Where has this been all my life?
