Описание: ACL 501, the lone surviving E3A (of a two-unit order for ACL), is seen over two days pulling trains during the annual North Carolina Transportation Museum's "Rail Days" in 2005. It was by sheer default the famous locomotive, said to have racked up over six million miles running between New York City & Miami in "Champion" service until its retirement in 1970, got out on the road this particular year as advertised N&W equipment was unable to make the event in time. #501 rarely pulls trains, spending most of its time in the roundhouse or on the turntable posing.
