Athens in August feels almost like a deserted city, as most of us - the Greeks - spend the month on vacation.
I walked from the Hellenic Parliament to Syntagma Square, Ermou Street, stopped at the Metropolitan Church and the nearby Byzantine Church, and walked around the picturesque alleys of Plaka and Anafiotika.
